さて、道の駅八王子滝山を後にして走ること5分ほど。
滝山城跡に到着です。
ありがたいことに近くには滝山観光駐車場があり、８時～１８時まで無料で停めることが出来ます。
こちらにバイクを停めさせていただき、滝山城跡へ。
駐車場から視界に入る距離の所にあるのですぐわかると思います。
周りは閑静な住宅街です。
入り口からほどなく、下の画像ではわかりづらいですが結構な上り坂で早くもぜ～ぜ～いいながら登る羽目に。
行くときは歩きやすい靴で行きましょう。
そして、小さな虫が結構飛んでます。
千畳敷の広大なスペース。ベンチもあり、ここでのんびり休憩もいいかも。
雰囲気のある木の橋。
渡ることも下から見上げることも出来ます。橋の上と下を行き来する階段はなかなかの段数です。
本丸近くからは市街地を一望できる場所もありました。
ちなみにきれいなトイレもありますよ。
ベンチも各所に設けられており、疲れたら休むことも出来ます。
というわけで簡単ではありますが、滝山城跡のご紹介でした。
道の駅八王子滝山から車で５分くらいで来ることが出来るし、近くに無料駐車場もあるので是非立ち寄ってみてください。
翌日何故かわからないけどすねのあたりが痛いな～と不思議に思っていたのですが・・・・
理由は滝山城跡でした(;’∀’)
結構山道を歩いたので筋肉痛ですね・・・
運動不足だな～。
